You know in the years of putting up with bullshit actually having my life in danger for quite a number of years (and in some cases still so). I see topics like the one posted above and realize: Fuck, at least I got off my fat ass and did something. I also swallowed a bit of pride and took some help when I needed to. That help came in the form of a couple hundred dollars and clothes for an interview it came in the form of a friend who also bought me clothes and food when I was down. Email Issue with Conceptart.Org
Just letting you know I'm aware of the email issues with CA. I'd just rather not get hit/flooded by more people saying "hey my registration is not working" I put a promotion in place to hopefully auto-kick users into Registered for now until the matter has been solved. It should happen in a day after you registered. Once email is working again I'll remove it.
I apologize, but it looks like the mailing issue is something CA's technical side needs to work on since I don't have access to that part.
In the meantime, I may end up looking for some people to mod certain parts of CA's forums like Sketchbooks and Employment sections just so they can

I kinda stood rather quiet on the issue, letting others talk about the theory as to whether or not one user was actually hacked recently.
You see, I also admin FurAffinity and can see IP information.
During the time of the DA fiasco, everyone was wondering if her FA was compromised. I did an IP check and noticed an anomaly on the log in. Let's say it was a different log in from where she comes in. Now that actually might point to evidence that indeed it was a hack...however...
It has been stated by members she was on her FA account and also said as much as those talking with her via IM. This was mentioned several days after the attack.

The only way I can agree with ~starfantazy is that the likelyhood of the law being passed is low. They're gonna keep trying, but one things for certain, they're gonna have to make A LOT of changes before it'll be passed.
And for those of you who are still worried about it, watermark all of your works.
I wikipedia'd this, and they said the bill was first presented in 2003, then 2005, again in 2006, and this year with not one but TWO bills. These guys are hopeless.
Hey, =arshesnei, I say you should make a few revisions to the site so people can research this further, otherwise everyone is gonna end up in a panic, thinking their art is gonna get stolen legally. Here's a link to add from the wikipedia site[just to warn you, its a bit vague]:
